Wireless Intelligence Layer - Overview
The Wireless Intelligence Layer is a real-time
middleware platform that enables the delivery of mobile-data Client
applications rapidly, efficiently, and with low cost of ownership. The
main components of a running Wireless Intelligence Layer system are the
ConnectorHost, Core Server, and Client application.
The ConnectorHost and Core Server work together to provide data to and authenticate Users of the Client applications.
Client applications work by passing data in the form of Entities between a Client device and a database on a server-computer.

The Wireless Intelligence Layer Development Environment (WILDE)
extends Visual Studio 2005 and operates as if it were part of it
allowing developers to use their existing knowledge of C# or Visual
Basic to develop Client applications for the Wireless Intelligence
Layer.
